As we step into a brand-new year, we’re so excited to finally 'open the doors' to Grain and Butter. What started as a heartfelt idea and dream has blossomed into a small business determined to honor quilting heritage while providing comfort into a modern, everyday world.

Today, on January 1, 2026, we officially launched our online shop and were welcomed by visitors from all across the country. Seeing so many of you stop by, explore, and show interest has been incredibly meaningful. Thank you for being here and for supporting a small, handmade business right from the start.

Grain and Butter was created with intention - to make handmade quilts and lifestyle goods that honor quilting heritage while fitting naturally into modern life. Through intentional design, thoughtful construction, and storytelling, we create pieces that carry comfort, memory, and meaning - made slowly, sincerely, and with heart.

As we grow, we want this space to feel welcoming, genuine, and fun. That means sharing not just products, but moments, stories, and a sense of community along the way.

Every other Sunday, we update the family blog - Threadbare Tales - where we share stories, reflections, and glimpses into life behind the seams.

We’ll also use this space - our Butter Churn Bulletin - to share shop updates, upcoming projects, and behind-the-scenes peeks as Grain and Butter continues to grow.
